A Bulletin Board System (BBS) is an online platform built around simple, text-based communication. Inspired by the dial-up systems popular from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s, MissionBBS brings the classic BBS experience to the modern web with message boards, threaded discussions, user profiles, private mail, user tagging, notifications, retro themes, and a customisable administration layer.
